Okra sliced into thin stripes, dipped in a batter made with coconut milk and egg yolk and fried for that nice crispy-crunchy munch and punch.

- 350g okra/bendi - slice into thin long stripes with the seeds on
- oil for frying
- For the batter
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 1 egg yolk
- 100ml coconut milk
- 1 1/2 tsp turmeric/kunyit
- Salt to taste

- Add all the ingredients for the batter into a mixing bowl.
- Whisk together for a thin runny batter.
- Dip a few of the sliced okra together into the batter and deep fry,
- Drain over kitchen towel before serving.
