- Red Wine Pears Sugar Orange Rind Cream

- Choose some good quality cooking pears. Put them in a saucepan with some sugar, orange rind and simmer till the pears are tender.
- Once they're tender, reduce the sauce and then pour it gently over the pears till cooked. Serve with whatever you desire...but maybe some fresh cream.
