Red Wine Pears Sugar Orange Rind Cream

Choose some good quality cooking pears. Put them in a saucepan with some sugar, orange rind and simmer till the pears are tender.
Once they're tender, reduce the sauce and then pour it gently over the pears till cooked. Serve with whatever you desire...but maybe some fresh cream.
