- 3/4 c. Sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 2 c. Lowfat milk
- 3 x Egg Yolks, slightly beaten
- 2 Tbsp. Margarine
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- 1 c. Flaked Coconut
- 9 x inch Baked Pie Shell
- 1 x recipe Meringue
Инструкции
- Combine sugar, conrstarch and salt in saucepan, and add in lowfat milk. Cook and stir over medium heat till mix thickens. Remove from heat and stir in egg yolks. Cook 2 min longer, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add in margarine, vanilla and coconut. Cold to room temperature and pour into baked pie shell. Top with meringue and bake in moderate oven (350) about 15 min.
