Рецепт Chunky Rhubarb Applesauce
Rhubarb is tart like cranberries and I love adding cranberries to my applesauce. So I thought, why not add rhubarb? I like mine tart, but you can adjust the sugar to your taste and depending on the tartness of your apples.

- 1 Lb. Fresh Rhubarb, Coarsely Chopped
- 2 Lbs. Tart Apples, Peeled & Diced
- 1/2 - 1 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/4 Tsp. Ground Cinnamon
- 1/8 Tsp. Ground Nutmeg
Инструкции
- Place rhubarb, apples and sugar to taste in a large saucepan. Cover and simmer until fruit is tender, about 40 minutes.
- Stir in cinnamon and nutmeg. Serve warm with chicken/pork or cold as a snack.
