- 1 lb grnd venison
- 1 can whole tomatoes - (16 ounce)
- 1 x green pepper seeded, minced fine
- 1 x onion finely minced
- 1/2 c. raw long-grain converted rice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp leaf basil
- 1 dsh freshly-grnd black pepper
- 4 slc American cheese cut into triangles

- Place all ingredients except cheese in crockpot. Stir thoroughly to mix grnd venison with other ingredients. Place 4 cheese triangles on top. Cover and cook on LOW for 7 to 10 hrs.
- Before serving, top with remaining 4 cheese triangles.
- This recipe yields 4 servings (about 2 qts).
