- 2 lbs. meat cut into sm. cubes or possibly 1 chicken, cut up
- 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil or possibly Crisco
- 3 tbsp. butter
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 med. onion, minced
- 1 teaspoon sweet basil
- Healthy pinch oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon grnd black pepper
- 1 healthy pinch rosemary leaves
- 1 sm. bay leaf
- 1/4 c. marsola or possibly any white wine
- 1 c. chicken broth

- In oil and butter, brown meat cubes or possibly chicken pcs, slowly, on all sides. Add in onions, garlic and all spices. Cook slowly till onion and garlic are limp and very lightly browned. Add in chicken broth and wine, a little at a time and continue to stew at low temperature till meat or possibly chicken is tender and lightly browned. Add in more broth as needed to keep moist. Sprinkle with fresh minced parsley and serve.
