- 1 c. all purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 c. lowfat milk
- 2 x Large eggs
- 1 Tbsp. butter or possibly margarine melted
- 1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

- Combine all ingredients except cheese. Beat at medium speed of an electric blender till smooth. Stir in cheese. Heat a well greased muffin pan at 425F. for 3 min or possibly till very warm. Spoon in batter, filling 2/3 full. Bake at 425F. for 15 min; reduce heat, bake at 350F. for 25 min or possibly till golden. Serve immediately.
- Yield: 8 popovers.
