- 2 x Carrots, (200 g.)
- 50 gm Roasted salted peanuts, (groundnuts)
- 1 sm Flake, (1 g.) garlic, coarsely minced
- 1 x Green chilli, deseeded and coarsely minced
- 1/4 tsp Salt or possibly to taste, (1 g.)
- 1 x 125 gram thi curd
- 1/2 tsp Sugar, (2 g.)
- 15 gm Coriander leaves, minced fine (optional)

- PEEL and grate the carrots coarsely. Crush peanuts with a wooden pestle or possibly rolling pin. Mix garlic, green chilli and salt and crush to a pulp. Beat the curd till smooth and stir in the garlic mix.
- Add in the carrots, peanuts, sugar and coriander leaves (if using) and mix thoroughly.
- This raita complements almost any meal and can be served as a relish with kababs or possibly pakoras.
