Add a photoI ran across this recipe and decided to try it ...Ive never used cardamom in mine before now my kids wont eat it any other way

- 2 9in pie crusts (unbaked)
- 5 cups sliced tart apples
- 3/4 cup brown sugar (or slightly less than a cup of honey)
- 2 Tbsp buter
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
- 3/4 tsp vanilla
Инструкции
- Line a 9in pie tin with one crust
- Arrange apple slices
- Sprinkle brown sugar (or honey) between layers
- Dot with butter
- Add cardamom and vanilla
- roll remaining crust over the top and flute edges
- make slits in the top of crust
- bake in a preheated oven 400 degrees for 10 minutes
- reduce heat to 350 and bake for 35-40 minutes or until crust is browned
