Рецепт Caramel Apple Pie 2

  1. FILLING - In saucepan, combine caramel topping, pecans, cornstarch, sugar & butter; cook over medium to low heat till thick. Prepare crust and crumb topping. In large bowl, peel, core & slice apples; add in caramel topping, mix well. Pour into prepared crust, add in crumb topping. Bake at 350 degrees till apples are done.
  2. PASTRY - Cut shortening into flour & salt till fine particles are formed. Mix together water, lemon juice & egg white. Add in a Tbsp. at a time to flour mix till dough is formed & almost cleans side of bowl. Turn out on a floured pastry cloth & roll to fit a 10" deep dish pie pan. Place crust into pie pan, trim & flute edges. Fill with filling & bake as direct.
  3. CRUST TOPPING - Cut ingredients together till pea size crumbs. Sprinkle over top of pie.
