- 5 c. flour
- 3 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 T sugar
- 3/4 c. shortening
- 2 packages. rapid rise yeast
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 2 c. buttermilk
Инструкции
- Sift dry ingredients. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add in shortening, sugar, and lowfat milk. Put together with dry ingredients.Turn on lightly floured board. Knead till smooth. Put in covered container and use as needed. Roll. Cut with biscuit cutter and bake at 450 degrees. Will keep two weeks.
- These biscuits freeze well if frzn before they raise. Defrost and bake at 450 degrees for 14-15 min.
