- Have a dining event which not only tastes good and looks good but is generally enjoyable. Fitting with the holiday season, we worked on a holiday brunch. Aside from these recipes, we learned about table presentation, planning and tricks to make the event memorable. We also created several types of food related decorations.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Separate strips of bacon and coat with brown sugar and fold each piece on an angle (to make a sort of V shape). Place on parchment paper and bake in oven 8-10 min till crisp. remove and let cold on another piece of parchment paper. Transfer to another platter once bacon hardens.
- This can be made early in the day and served at room temperature.
- Hint: If brown sugar is hard, place in microwave for about 30 seconds to soften.
