- 3/4 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. Brer Rabbit molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 c. sifted flour
Инструкции
- Using liquid shortening, add in sugar, molasses, and egg. Beat well. Sift flour, soda, cloves, ginger, cinnamon, and salt together. Add in to first mix. Mix well and chill. Form into 1 inch balls and roll in granulated sugar and place on greased cookie sheet, 2 inches apart. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 min.
