- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. light molasses
- 2 beaten Large eggs
- 4 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoon soda
- 2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 teaspoon cloves
- 2 teaspoon ginger

- Cream shortening and sugar. Add in molasses and egg. Beat well. Sift dry ingredients together and add in. Mix well. Form into balls and roll in sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 to 15 min. Makes 6 dozen.
