- 2 lbs. boneless top round
- 2 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 lg. onion
- 1 tbsp. oil
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoon sherry
- 2 lg. tomatoes
- 1 green pepper
- 1/4 c. water

- Slice meat across the grain into 1 x 1/16 inch slices. Make sauce of soy sauce, sugar, sherry, and cornstarch. Add in to meat. Let sit at least 15 min. Cut tomatoes, onions, and green pepper into chunks. Heat oil and cook onions quickly over medium heat. Add in meat and cook 3 min, stirring frequently. Add in green pepper, then tomato and water. Cook 2 more min. Serve at once over cooked rice.
