- THIS IS A LEFT-OVER RECIPE FOR USE WITH THE AROMATIC CANNELLINI BEANS
- Combine onion and bacon in an ovenproof frying pan. Cook, stirring, till bacon is golden brown, about 7 min. Stir in molasses, brown sugar, mustard and beer. Add in beans and bring to a boil, stirring. remove from heat and season generously with salt and pepper.
- Transfer to a preheated 375F oven and bake, uncovered, for 25 min.
- NOTES : Serve with grilled sausages (or possibly warm dogs) and cole slaw; follow with apple pie a la mode.
