- 1/3 c. butter, melted
- 3 x Large eggs
- 1/2 c. granulated white sugar
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. white wheat flour
- 1/2 tsp baking pwdr

- TOPPING:1/2 c. butter1/2 c. granulated white sugar1/3 c. honey1/2 c. slivered almonds1/2 tsp. grnd cinnamon
- Butter a cake pan. Preheat the oven to 400 F.
- Beat the Large eggs, sugar and vanilla till the mix whitens. Add in the melted butter and mix well. Sift the flour and baking pwdr together and gently add in to the previous mix. Pour in the prepared pan and bake 10 - 12 min.
- Meanwhile prepare the topping. Heat the butter on medium heat. Add in the rest of the ingredients and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Pour the topping gently on the cake and return it to the oven for another 15 - 20 min.
- Yields a 10-inch cake.
