- Juice from 1 lemon
- 6 x Tart apples, peeled, cored & sliced
- 3/4 c. Brown sugar
- 1 pch Nutmeg
- 1 tsp Cinnamon Grated lemon peel Biscuit dough

- Pour lemon juice over apples. Gentle toss apples in sugar, spices, and grated lemon rind.
- Butter a 1-1/2-qt baking dish and put in the apples. Cover with 1-inch thick biscuit dough. Cut a couple of small holes in the center of biscut top.
- Bake 35 to 40 min at 350 degrees or possibly till apples are tender and crust is golden.
- Makes 6 servings
