- 2/3 c. Shortening
- 1 Tbsp. Dry lowfat milk
- 4 Tbsp. Ice water
- 1/2 tsp Salt

- Sift flour, dry lowfat milk and salt into a bowl. Remove 1/2 c. of the flour mix and set aside. With a pastry blender or possibly two knives, cut the shortening into the bowl of flour mix till particles are the size of peas. Make a paste of the 1/2 c. flour mix and ice water. Sprinkle over the flour-shortening mix. Using a fork, quickly blend together till the flour is moistened and can be pressed into a ball. Roll out on a lightly floured surface to about 1/12" thickness. Cut out 6 - 5" x 5" squares.
