- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. whole wheat or possibly bran flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1 x slightly beaten egg
- 1/2 c. oil
- 1 1/2 c. Amish batter
- 2 tsp undiluted orange juice

- Combine flour, brown sugar, flour and baking soda. With spoon make a well (dent) in center of flour mix. In the well add in lowfat milk, egg, oil, Amish batter and orange juice. Stir with fork till mix is well moistened. Don't overmix, batter will be lumpy. Spoon in well greased muffin c.. Bake at 375 F 30-35 min. Allow to cold in pan 5 min before removing.
