Did you know that Tuscans are sometimes nicknamed "mangiafagioli" or "bean eaters"? Indeed, there are many wonderful Tuscan bean dishes like fagioli al fiasco, fagioli all'uccelletto, fagioli e tonno, not to mention those wonderful hearty soups like ribollita.
