Julia Child and Jacques Pepin are very inspirational chefs, and I share their appreciation for quality ingredients and fresh flavors. I got to meet Julia Child at a book signing in Los Gatos a few years ago. There were at least 100 people in line for autographs, and she stayed hours longer than she was scheduled to make sure that everyone who wanted one got one. She was a wonderful woman!
