Jack of all trades, been a chef, cooking teacher and I'm also an herbalist. Been a mom, gramma, friend, and wife, now onto the next phase! I have finally landed on the Oregon coast after trying to get here for several yrs. My blogs will log many of the things about this move, my recipes and more.

Ive been cooking since I was ten yrs old. Got a lucky break when I moved to Ca. and ended up working in a great Champagne Cellar Restaurant. Worked in small places on and off including a Health Food deli as their chef. Taught classes and did lots of PR work for the Champagne Cellar too.
Im very much into herbs and herbal therapies and was the one who started the herb garden at that restaurant. Today its a great garden that stocks the place. I also teach herbal cooking and have for a couple herb shops.
I left that place but returned a few yrs later as their Garde Manger and loved it. While I dont cook in a restaurant anymore due to some physical problems, I still do classes and demos on occasion and cater too.
