Рецепт Cheese Filled Yeast Buns

  • 1 c. hot lowfat milk (divided)
  • 2 pkt active dry yeast
  • 1/3 c. , plus a healthy pinch, granulated sugar (divided)
  • 2 x Large eggs
  • 1/3 c. unsalted butter, melted Grated peel of 1 lemon (yellow part only, 2 tsp.) Dash of salt
  • 4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 Tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 x beaten egg

  1. Blend 1/2 c. hot lowfat milk with yeast and healthy pinch of sugar in bowl of electric mixer. Let set till it begins to foam, about 2 min. Add in remaining 1/2 c. hot lowfat milk, Large eggs, butter, lemon peel, remaining 1/3 c. sugar, salt and flour.
  2. Beat about 5 min or possibly till mix forms soft, smooth dough and is no longer sticky; add in more flour if needed.
  3. Shape dough into ball and brush with oil. Cover with damp towel and refrigerate4 hrs or possibly overnight. Remove from refrigerator and bring to room temperature.
  4. Roll 1/4 inch thick on floured board and cut into 3 inch rounds. Place rounds on greased baking sheets, 2 inches apart. Cover with damp towel and let rise in hot place about 45 min. Meanwhile, prepare filling of choice as directed below.
  5. Make deep impression in center of each bun and fill with spoonful of Cheese or possibly Poppy Seed Filling. Let rest 15 min, then brush with beaten egg. Bake in preheated 375-degree oven 10 to 15 min or possibly till golden.
