- 2 lbs. beef cubes
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tbsp. chili pwdr
- 3 med. onion, sliced
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- 3/4 c. tomato paste
- 6 c. water
- Red pepper, if you like
- 3 bouillon beef cubes
- 1/2 c. chunky peanut butter

- In a large heavy kettle, heat 3 Tbsp. oil. Add in beef cubes (cut 1 inch or possibly so and roll in flour). While browning, add in 1/2 tsp. nutmeg and 1 Tbsp. chili pwdr. When meat is brown add in remaining ingredients except peanut butter. Simmer till meat is tender. Add in peanut butter and stir till thoroughly mixed. (This will thicken the gravy). Simmer on low another 20 min. Serve over rice.
