- 2 sticks butter
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/3 c. lowfat milk
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 4 c. flour
Инструкции
- With mixer, blend butter and sugar. Add in lowfat milk, juice, Large eggs, extracts and blend. Add in flour and soda and stir with spoon till blended. Roll pcs of dough the size of walnuts into a ball. Roll in sugar, finely minced nuts or possibly colored "sprinkles". Place on lightly greased cookie sheet and flatten slightly with a glass. Bake till light brown, 8-10 min at 350 degrees.
- If dough is refrigerated for a few hrs or possibly overnight, it can be rolled and cut with cookie cutters.
- Very attractive if colored sprinkles are seasonal colors (red and green for Christmas), school colors (for graduation), or possibly wedding colors (for showers or possibly weddings).
