- 18 pound (7 quart.) tomatoes
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 1 c. minced carrots
- 2 c. minced celery
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 4 T canning salt
- 1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Инструкции
- Skin tomatoes, quarter, then measure. Boil; add in minced vegetables; keep boiling. Add in sugar, salt, and spices. Simmer 20 min, uncovered. Put through a sieve. Return to pot; bring to boil. Pour into 7 qt jars. Process in water bath for 30 min.
