- 1 med Onion, minced fine
- 1 x Clove garlic, minced fine
- 1 lb Pork, grnd and VERY lean
- 2 tsp Corn starch
- 3/4 c. Chicken broth
- Â Â Pepper
- 1/4 c. Bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. Water
- 1 x Egg, lightly beaten
- 1/8 tsp Grnd cloves
- 1/4 tsp Grnd mace
- 1 tsp Grnd sage
- 1/4 c. Celery leaves, finely minced
- 2 x 9-inch pie crust
Инструкции
- Pre-heat oven to 425 degrees.
- Saute/fry onion and garlic in butter till tender; add in pork, continue to cook breaking up meat and stirring 5 to 8 min or possibly till meat is no longer pink.
- Sprinkle with cornstarch , add in broth, pepper, sage, mace, cloves and celery leaves. Bring to a boil and simmer uncovered till meat is thoroughly cooked and excess liquid evaporated 20 to 25 min.
- Cold mix then remove surface fat. Spoon into pie crust, place top crust on and make steam holes.
- Bake till golden 10 t0 15 min.
- Lower heat to 350 degrees and bake another 15 min.
