- 2 pound beef (flank, round steak, fillet, or possibly boneless sirloin)
- 3 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1 teaspoon powdered ginger
- Juice of 1 lime
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1/2 c. vegetable oil

- Place the beef in a mixing bowl. Combine the remaining ingredients and mix well. Pour over the beef and marinate in refrigerator for several hrs or possibly overnight. Remove the beef from the marinade and grill over warm coals. Turn often, brushing with marinade and cook to desired degree of doneness. Before serving, pour remaining marinade over the beef if you like.
