- 1 loaf sour dough French bread
- 1 lg. onion, chopped
- 1/2 to 3/4 pound butter
- 1 pound Swiss cheese
- 1 sm. jar poppy seeds

- Saute onion in butter and add in poppy seeds. Cut bread into slices but not all the way through. Put slice of cheese between each slice of bread. Spoon poppy seed mix into each slice. Wrap loaf securely with foil and bake at 325 degrees for approximately 30 min.
