- 1Â 1/2 lb lean grnd beef
- 1 c. cooked rice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly-grnd black pepper
- 8 lrg cabbage leaves - (to 10) blanched until
- Â Â wilted
- 1 c. tomato sauce
- 1 can tomato paste - (6 ounce)
- 1 x onion minced
- 1/4 c. vinegar
- 3/4 c. water
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 8 x gingersnap cookies crushed
Инструкции
- Combine meat, rice, salt and pepper. Fill each leaf with about 1/2 c. of the mix, mix in sides like an envelope, then roll up and place seam-side down in crock pot.
- Combine remaining ingredients and pour over cabbage rolls. Cover and cook on LOW 6 to 8 hrs.
- This recipe yields 4 to 5 servings.
