- 1 package of active dry yeast
- 3 tablespoons warm water

- 3 1/2 cups all purpose flour

- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 6 1/2 ounces (1 1/2 sticks) butter cold and diced
- Additions to the yeast mixture
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- The Filling
- 1 cup walnuts
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cups raisins
- 1 tablespoon corn syrup
- Sticky Syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons water
- 1 stick butter
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees
- Combine the yeast water and sugar. Allow the yeast to prove for 5 minutes
