Рецепт spiced plum butter,---jam
Ингредиенты
- 4 lbs italian prune plums
- 2 c sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 whole cloves garlic
Инструкции
- pit and quarter the plums and put them in a heavy pot, add the sugar, sinnamon stick and cloves, stir well and let sit overnight or 8 hrs
- the next day heat the oven to 350 put the pot unlidded into the oven and cooki for 2 hours stirring occasionally
- sterilize jars and lids
- after plums have broken down and liquid is reduced into a thick jam, remove the pot from oven and discard stick and cloves. puree the jam with immersion blender
- ladle into jars,best to turn jars upside down after screwing on lids....though i usually just let them seal the regular way, maybe back in the oven for 15 min
