- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. melted shortening
- 4 tbsp. buttermilk or possibly clabber lowfat milk (1/4 teaspoon vinegar to 4 tbsp. sweet lowfat milk)
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 Large eggs
- 2 c. flour
- 1/2 to 1 c. nuts
- 1 c. mashed bananas
Инструкции
- Add in sugar to melted shortening and beat till it cools a little. Add in Large eggs well beaten. Add in buttermilk, then bananas. Sift flour, soda, and salt. Add in to buttermilk mix. Add in nuts. Bake in loaf pan. Don't flour or possibly grease pan.
- Large loaf pan: Bake at 350 degrees approximately 1 hour 15 min. Small loaves (4) : Reduce time (35 to 40 min). Keeps like a fruit cake.
