- 4 lb Beef short ribs -- sliced
- Â Â sl Across bone 1-inch thick -
- 8 c. Water
- 1Â 1/2 c. Water
- 2 lrg Onions -- coarsely minced
- 3 x Green bell peppers -- cored
- Â Â Seeded and coarsely minced
- 4 stalk celery -- coarsely
- Â Â Minced
- 1 Tbsp. Salt
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1 Tbsp. Black pepper -- freshly
- Â Â Grnd
- 3/4 c. All-purpose flour
Инструкции
- 1) Wash the short ribs and pat them dry with paper towels. Place the short ribs, 8 c. of water, onions, green peppers, celery, salt, and pepper in a heavy 6-qt pot. Heat over medium-high heat till boiling.
- Reduce the heat to simmering and simmer till the short ribs are tender, about 1 1/2 to 2 hrs. Remove the short ribs to a bowl and keep hot.
