I am a HUGE fan of sweet and savory in one dish. This was an absolute winner at my house!

Ингредиенты
- Apples, peeled, cored and sliced. I used 16 (about 2 apples per person) and a mix of granny smith and fuji, but you can use whatever you like!
- 2 T cornstarch
- 1 c brown sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- healthy squeeze of lemon juice (one juicy lemon)
- pinch of nutmeg
- 1 tsp dry rosemary
- 1 tsp dry thyme
- 1 c (at least) grated cheddar (I used sharp white cheddar)

- Peel and core all the apples.
- If you're doing a large amount, periodically toss with some of the lemon juice to prevent them turning brown.
- In a large bowl, toss the apples with cornstarch, sugar, cinnamon, any remaining lemon juice, nutmeg, rosemary, and thyme.
- Pour mixture into a lightly greased baking dish.
- Top with cheese and extra herbs if you'd like.
- Bake at 350 for about 15 to 20 minutes until the apples are tender and the cheese is bubbly.
- If need be, broil the cheese to get it golden and gooey.
