- 2 Packages or possibly 1 cake yeast
- 1 tbsp. sugar
- 1 tbsp. rum extract
- 1/2 c. hot water
- 1 c. scalded lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 2 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, beaten
- 5 to 6 c. flour
Инструкции
- Mix yeast, sugar, water till yeast is dissolved. Add in rum, egg, lowfat milk, shortening and salt. Mix well. Add in flour. Knead. Roll to 1/4 inch thick square. Moisten entire square with butter. Sprinkle 1/2 c. brown sugar, mixed with 1 tsp. cinnamon over dough. Sprinkle 1 c. raisins over dough. Roll up. Slice in 1 inch rolls. Place in well greased muffin tins. Let rise approximately 2 to 3 hrs. Bake at 375 degrees till light tan on top.
