- 1 to 1 1/2 lbs. cubed round steak or possibly minute steaks
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- 1 1/2 c. Minute rice

- Season steak with salt and pepper to taste; roll in flour. In large skillet, brown meat in small amount of veg. oil. Add in 1 can stewed tomatoes, bring to boiling, cover and simmer 1/2 hour or possibly till meat is tender. Add in rice - 1 c. for 4 servings; 1 1/2 c. for 6 servings (add in additional water if necessary to cook rice). Cook 1 or possibly 2 min, covered, turn off heat and let stand till juice is absorbed by rice. For added flavor add in minced onion and green peppers and brown along with meat.
