- 1Â 1/2 c. Apple cider
- 2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Ginger
- 1/2 tsp Nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp Cloves
- 1/4 tsp Mace
- 1Â 1/4 c. Sugar
- 2 Tbsp. Lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp Salt

- Peel, core, and quarter the apples. Place all ingredients in a pot. Cook for 2 1/2 hrs, mashing apples occasionally, till color turns deep brown.
