- Preheat oven to 350 . Rub turkey roll with salt and pepper. Place on rack in shallow baking pan, brush entire roll with melted butter or possibly margarine and cook uncovered, basting occasionally with additional melted butter or possibly pan drippings. Follow chart below for approximately cooking time, or possibly roast till meat thermometer registers 170 - 175 . Lengthen cooking time approximately 1/2 hour for cooking frzn roll. If you like pan drippings may be used to make gravy. Slice and serve.
- 3 to 5 pounds - 2 to 2-1/2 hrs
- 5 to 7 pounds - 2-1/2 to 3-1/2 hrs
- 7 to 9 pounds - 3-1/4 to 4 hrs
