Use this easy prep salsa for Huevos Rancheros, tortilla dishes, meatloaf, etc.
I have never seen this particular type of sauce in the grocery store for some reason, so always make it.
Ингредиенты
- 1 tbs. corn oil
- 1/4 cup each finely chopped bell pepper, celery and onion
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp.dry oregano
- 1 1/2 tbs. cornstarch
- 1 can rotel (get mild, if you are not a big fan of jalapenos)
- 2 cups chicken broth
- salt and pepper to taste
- optional: cilantro leaves

- Saute the veggies in the oil, add the rest of the ingredients, except for the cornstarch, bring to a boil.
- Make a paste with the cornstarch and a bit of water, add to sauce.
- Turn down to simmer 5 minutes.
