Рецепт Pumpkin Alfredo
This is a pumpkin variation of a traditional Italian dish that could easily go with a Holiday meal. We enjoy this with shrimp since the flavors complement each other well, but I believe it would go very well with turkey or ham too!

- 1 tablespoon margarine
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- ¾ cup canned pumpkin
- 1 whole nutmeg to grate several strokes
- ½ teaspoon salt
- dash pepper
- 1½ cup whipping cream
- ¾ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 16 oz box fettuccine pasta, cooked

- Melt the margarine on medium heat and sauté the garlic until soft.
- Stir in the pumpkin and grate a little nutmeg into the pot.
- Stir for 1-2 minutes.
- Stir in the whipping cream and bring to a low simmer.
- Stir frequently, letting thicken for 5-6 minutes.
- Stir in the Parmesan cheese and stir frequently until desired thickness.
- Serve with 1 pound box of cooked fettuccine.
- Serves 6
