- 1/2 lb prosciutto
- 6 x figs, fresh or possibly canned, dra
- 1/2 c. dry white wine, optional
- Â Â fresh grnd black pepper

- Cut figs into thick bite-size slices. Sprinkle with wine. Allow to sit for 30 min, then wrap with prosciutto around each fig slice and secure with a toothpick. Sprinkle with a couple turns of fresh grnd black pepper. To obtain the best presentation serve 3 slices per person white serving plates.
- Serves 6.
