Рецепт Pork Knuckles Braised in Pineapple
One of my version/twist of the traditional Paksiw na pata. Using pineapple and pineapple juice as the alternate for vinegar. It tasted very good too!
Ингредиенты
- 1 Kilo of Pata (sliced)
- 2 packets of banana blossoms
- 1 clove garlic (crushed)
- 1 medium onion (sliced)
- 3 tbsps. of cooking oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- white sugar (according to taste)
- Pinch of ground pepper
- Pineapple chunks
- Pinapple juice (from chunks can)
- water for boiling
- Canola oil
Инструкции
- Boil the meat together with the garlic, onion, water, and pineapple juice. If you will use a pressure cooker, 10-15 mins is enough.
- Once the meat is tender, put in all the other ingredients, then season to taste.
- Add the canola oil once the meat is almost coming off its bones.
- Add the pineapple chunks, simmer for 2minutes.
- Serve and enjoy!
