Mami means "Noodles".
Beef Mami is one of the many varieties of noodles in the country. There are lots of different flavors being tried and enjoyed all over the country. This is the most basic and loved by all. Enjoy!

  1. Put the oil in a cooking pot and apply heat.
  2. Saute half of the diced garlic . Add the onion and stir fry till tender.
  3. Put in the beef brisket and cook both sides until brown.
  4. Add the chicken cube.
  5. Pour in the water and bring to a boil.
  6. Boil the beef until it becomes tender (about 3 hours on low heat).
  7. Add salt and pepper to the boiling water to taste.
  8. Boil 2 eggs until hard boiled.
  9. In a large pot , boil water. Add egg noodles to the boiling water and cook for about 3 mins.
  10. On a non stick pan, put the 2 tbsp canola oil.
  11. Put the remaining garlic and cook until it’s golden brown.
  12. In a bowl add cooked egg noodles and the chinese cabbage.
  13. Add the beef brisket to the bowl and the soup.
  14. Sprinkle the spring onions and browned garlic on top.
