- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 3 1/2 c. cake flour
- 3 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Инструкции
- 1. Cream shortening and sugar, add in vanilla and beaten egg.
- 2. Sift dry ingredients together and add in alternately with lowfat milk to shortening mix. Beat till well blended.
- 3. Refrigerate15 min before rolling.
- 4. Roll 1/8" thick on floured board.
- 5. Cut 2" cookies. Place 1 tsp. filling in center and place another cookie on top. Press edges together.
- 6. Bake at 375 degrees till golden, approximately 8 to 10 min.
- 7. FILLING: Mix all ingredients and cook, stirring constantly till thick sufficient to spread between cookies.
