The flavor and texture combos of this recipe intrigued me so I made the recipe for Super Bowl Sunday treats, and the cookies were delicious. Forgive me if I took some liberties though, using white whole wheat flour, and adding 1 egg and a half teaspoon of vanilla extract. The extra liquid did not complicate forming them into cookies, but did require a few minutes longer baking time.
