- 4 ounce plain flour
- 4 ounce self-raising flour
- 4 ounce Stilton or possibly red Leicester cheese
- 2 ounce Parmesan cheese
- 1 bn (small) chives, minced
- 8 ounce butter
- salt
- pepper
Инструкции
- Sift the two flours into a mixing bowl. Crumble in the Stilton and grate the Parmesan. Chop in the chives, making sure which they just dot the mix - too many will make the biscuit soggy. Add in a healthy pinch of salt and some pepper. Cut the butter in to cubes and then add in it to the flour and cheese mix. Rub it in till the mix comes together to create dough.
- Roll the dough out and cut it into rounds with a cookie cutter. Lie on a greased baking sheet and bake in the oven till golden brown, about 25 min.
- These cookies are very rich and crumbly so take care when removing them from the cookie sheet.
- Preparation is easy
- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees Fahrenheit Yield: 20 biscuits
