- 1 cup plus 3 tbsp flour, divided
- 1 cup quick-cooking oats, uncooked
- 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 3/4 cup caramel ice cream topping

- Combine one cup of the flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda, salt, and the melted butter.
- Blend with an electric mixer on low speed to form a crumbly mixture.
- Press half into an ungreased 11 x 7 inch baking pan.
- Bake at 350 F for 10 minutes.
- Remove from the oven
- Sprinkle with the chocolate chips and the pecans.
- Set aside.
- Combine the topping and the remaining flour
- Drizzle over the top.
- Sprinkle with the remaining crumb mixture.
- Bake an additional 15 to 20 minutes or until golden.
- Chill for 1 to 2 hours.
- Cut into bars.
